Koru Health Welcomes New Operations Manager: Strengthening Leadership and Enhancing Resident Care

Pewaukee/Wauwatosa, Wisconsin — December 19, 2025 — Koru Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Robin Wolzenburg as its new Operations Director. A registered nurse and experienced clinician with more than 30 years of experience in long-term care, Wolzenburg will lead operational strategy across Koru Health’s communities, with a strong focus on strengthening systems, supporting staff, and elevating the resident and family experience.

“What drew me to this role was Koru Health’s genuine commitment to person-centered care,” said Wolzenburg. “After decades in senior living, I’ve seen firsthand how strong operations shape outcomes, culture, and the daily experience of residents and staff alike. I’m excited to help build systems that truly support the people doing the work every day.”

In her new role, Wolzenburg will concentrate on building consistent, reliable workflows, improving communication across departments, and ensuring every community has the resources needed to deliver exceptional care. Early priorities include listening closely to staff, evaluating current processes, and streamlining core practices while honoring the unique character of each Koru Health community.

“Operational excellence isn’t about perfection; it’s about alignment, clarity, and empowering teams,” Wolzenburg added. “My goal is to build a strong foundation that supports high-quality care and positions Koru Health for sustainable growth.”

“Robin’s appointment comes at a pivotal time of growth for Koru Health, and her deep expertise in senior living operations is exactly what we need to solidify our foundation for the future,” said Andy Lange, President and Founder of Koru Health. “She shares our vision that true operational excellence is rooted in person-centered care and in supporting the staff who deliver it every day. Robin’s focus on clear systems, collaborative culture, and unwavering quality will ensure our communities continue to thrive and exceed the expectations of the families we serve.”

Known for her collaborative leadership style—including her impactful work with LeadingAge Wisconsin—Wolzenburg has a proven track record of strengthening team culture across care, culinary, activities, and administrative departments. She leads with a philosophy of shared purpose, open communication, and deep respect for the expertise each team member brings.

Wolzenburg also brings extensive experience enhancing behind-the-scenes systems. In previous roles, she successfully standardized communication during shift transitions, significantly improving care continuity and strengthening family confidence.

“Operations is the backbone of the resident experience,” Wolzenburg said. “When teams have strong processes, they can focus on what matters most: connection, compassion, and exceptional care.”

As Koru Health continues to grow, Wolzenburg will guide the thoughtful adoption of technologies that support efficiency, strengthen communication, and improve resident outcomes.

“What motivates me most is knowing the difference we make in people’s lives,” she shared. “Supporting residents, families, and staff with both precision and heart is what drives my work every day.”

Koru Health is proud to welcome Robin Wolzenburg and looks forward to the positive impact her leadership will bring.
